In addition to above benefits, students have access to IPA’s Internship program.
Student members have the opportunity to participate in company-sponsored internships.
The internship application process involves requesting and completing a written
application, providing IPA with school affiliation, year in school and degree pursued,
as well as your area of study. After all information is verified, students are connected
with other IPA members for an internship opportunity appropriate to their subject
interests. Students have access website content to enhance knowledge in probiotics
and other probiotic science-related topics. Networking opportunities are awarded
through accessibility of experts in the fields of microbiology, biochemistry, toxicology,
pediatrics, geriatrics, women’s health, food science, nutrition and related fields.
Students may attend probiotic conferences for free by participating as a volunteer.
The IPA serves as an additional resource to graduate students desiring to conduct
research in fields of study surrounding probiotics.
